STTCBD Rules and Regulations
Effective Date: June 2025
The following rules and regulations are established to maintain a safe, respectful, and effective learning environment at Shapla Technical Training Center (STTCBD). All students, instructors, and staff are expected to comply with these rules at all times.
1. General Conduct
Students must behave respectfully toward instructors, staff, and fellow students.
Disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
The use of foul language or engaging in discriminatory conduct is strictly prohibited.
2. Attendance and Punctuality
Students must attend all scheduled classes and arrive on time.
A minimum of 80% attendance is required to be eligible for certification.
Absences must be communicated in advance with a valid reason.
3. Dress Code
Students must dress appropriately and maintain personal hygiene.
For technical and practical courses, specific dress codes or safety gear may be required.
4. Use of Facilities
Students are expected to treat all facilities, equipment, and materials with care.
Damage caused by negligence or misuse may result in disciplinary action and compensation charges.
Classrooms, labs, and common areas must be kept clean and tidy.
5. Mobile Phones and Devices
Mobile phones must be switched off or kept on silent mode during class hours.
Use of mobile phones or electronic devices is not allowed during exams unless permitted.
6. Academic Integrity
Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty is strictly prohibited.
Violations may result in immediate expulsion without refund.
7. Examinations and Assessments
All students must appear for scheduled assessments as per the academic calendar.
Failure to appear without valid reasons may lead to disqualification from certification.
8. Fees and Payments
Students must pay fees on time as per the STTCBD Payment Policy.
Delayed payments may result in suspension of access to classes or withholding of certificates.
9. Certification Criteria
To receive a certificate, students must:
Complete the course requirements
Maintain minimum attendance
Pass final assessments
10. Prohibited Activities
Smoking, drug use, or consumption of alcohol on premises is strictly forbidden.
Engaging in political or unauthorized group activities within the campus is prohibited.
11. Disciplinary Actions
Violations of these rules may result in:
Verbal or written warnings
Temporary or permanent suspension
Expulsion from the institute without refund
Final Note
By enrolling at STTCBD, all students agree to abide by these rules and regulations. STTCBD reserves the right to update or amend these rules at any time for the safety and benefit of its learning community.
