Payment Policy
Effective Date: June 2025
This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding payments made for courses, training programs, and other services offered by Shapla Technical Training Center (STTCBD).
1. Payment Methods
STTCBD accepts the following forms of payment:
Cash (at the office)
Bank transfer
Mobile financial services (e.g., bKash, Nagad, Rocket)
Online payment gateway (if available on the website)
Payment instructions will be provided upon course registration.
2. Payment Schedule
Full payment is generally required at the time of course registration unless otherwise agreed.
For certain long-term programs, installment payment options may be available. These must be agreed upon in writing at the time of enrollment.
3. Confirmation of Enrollment
Enrollment in any course or program is confirmed only after payment is received in full (or the first installment, if applicable). Students will receive an official receipt or confirmation email/SMS.
4. Late Payments
If an installment payment is not made by the due date:
A late fee may be charged.
Access to course materials or participation in classes may be suspended until payment is received.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the STTCBD Refund Policy. In general:
No refunds will be issued once the course has started.
Partial refunds may be issued for cancellations made before the course start date, subject to an administrative fee.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
6. Cancellation and Changes
STTCBD reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or rescheduling option will be offered.
If a student wishes to switch to another course, such requests must be made prior to the start of the original course and are subject to availability.
7. Dispute Resolution
Any payment-related disputes should be reported to STTCBD immediately. We will make every effort to resolve the issue promptly and fairly.
